Am5x86 프로세서는 1995년 11월 AMD가 486급 컴퓨터 시스템에 사용하기 위해 발표한 x86 호환 CPU이다.[1] 1995년 12월에 출하를 시작했으며 기본 가격은 대량 주문 시 단위당 93달러이다.[2] 출시되기 전에는 코드명 "X5"로 개발 중이었다.[3]
