Le bartitsu es un arte martial mixte e un methodo de defensa personal disveloppate originalmente in Anglaterra durante le annos 1898-1902. In 1901 esseva immortalisate (como "baritsu") per sir Arthur Conan Doyle, autor de Le aventuras de Sherlock Holmes. Malgrado haber restate in le oblido durante le major parte del seculo XX, le bartitsu ha experimentate un resurgimento desde le anno 2002.[1]
