Makaron (it. pasta) — un məhsulu. İtaliya mətbəxinin əsas məhsuludur.^[1]^[2] İlk dəfə 1154-cü ildə Siciliyada ortaya çıxmışdır.^[3] Əsasən su və yumurtadan yoğrulmuş buğda unu xəmirinin qurudulmasından hazırlanmış yeyinti məhsulu, habelə ondan hazırlanmış xörəkdir. Dilimizə italyanca maccherone sözündən keçmişdir.
