Manjaro (/mænˈɑːr/ man-JAR-oh) is a free and open-source Linux distribution based on the Arch Linux operating system that has a focus on user-friendliness and accessibility. It uses a rolling release update model and Pacman as its package manager.[6] It is developed mainly in Austria, France and Germany.[6]

Reviewers regard Manjaro Linux as a Linux distribution that is easy to set up and use, suitable for both beginners and experienced users.[7][8] It is recommended as an easy and friendly way to install and maintain a cutting-edge Arch-derived distribution.[9][10] Some reviewers find appeal in the large range of contributed software available in the AUR, which has a reputation for being kept up to date from upstream resources.[9] Others highlight the wide selection of official and community editions with different desktop environments.[11]

Hi all, I am working now since a longer time on my arch linux livecd. It is called manjaro linux and uses the Desktop Environment Xfce. I uploaded a first testing livecd which is very experimental and many features are still missing. I would be thankful for any bugs reported,.... or if somebody wants to help and join the project he is always welcome.
