Notamacropus is een geslacht van buideldieren uit de familie der kangoeroes (Macropodidae) en omvat wallaroes en grote kangoeroes. In 1985 werd het door Dawson & Flannery beschreven als een ondergeslacht van Macropus^[1], maar wordt sinds 2019 als apart geslacht gerekend.^[2] De soorten uit dit geslacht worden wallaby's genoemd, maar die naam wordt ook gebruikt voor kleine kangoeroes uit andere geslachten.
