Nycteus

In Greek mythology, Nycteus (/ˈnɪktjs/; Greek: Νυκτεύς, romanizedNukteús, lit.'nocturnal') was a king of Thebes. His rule began after the death of Polydorus, and ended when he was succeeded by his brother Lycus.
