Osphranter is een geslacht van buideldieren uit de familie der kangoeroes (Macropodidae) en omvat wallaroes en grote kangoeroes. In 1842 werd het door John Gould beschreven als een ondergeslacht van Macropus^[1], maar wordt sinds 2019 als apart geslacht gerekend.^[2]
