Quillaia ko ɓalndu ndernderiiru ɓuuɓndu walla ƴiye tokoose e caɗeele ɓalndu saabunde (Quillaja saponaria, Molina). Inɗe goɗɗe ina heen : ɓuuɓri Murillo, ɓuuɓri Panama, ɓuuɓri Quillaia, ɓuuɓri Quillay, e ɓuuɓri Soapbark. Quillaia ina waɗi saponinuuji keewɗi baawɗi ɓeydeede e peewnugol. Saponinuuji laaɓtuɗi no feewi ummoriiɗi e quillaia ina kuutoree ngam wallitde ɓeydude kattanɗe ñawbuuli. Kosam goɗɗam e nder ƴiiƴam ɗam ina jeyaa heen tannin e polifenoluuji goɗɗi, e oksalaat kalsiyum.[1]

Quillaia ina huutoree e peewnugol geɗe ɓeydooje nguura,[1] ina limtee e nder biir ruttorde e soda kiri.[1] Kosam ɗam kadi ina huutoree ngam ɓuuɓnude e nder ñameele, e nder ñamri ɓuuɓndi, e nder puddinguuji e no ɓuuɓnude e nder njaramji ɓuuɓɗi.[1] Ina huutoree e ndema ngam won e mbaydiiji "natural" ɓuuɓɗi.[2] The extract also is used as a humectant in baked goods, frozen dairy products, and puddings and as a foaming agent in soft drinks.[2] It is used in agriculture for some "natural" spray adjuvant formulations.[3]
