Tasciovanus

Nummus aëneus rege Tasciovano incusus. Obv. Protome Augusti (?), TASCIA VA. Rev. Pegasus, TA

Tasciovanus, qui saeculo I a.C.n. floruit, rex fuit Catuvellaunorum in Britannia. E nummorum testimonio patrem fuisse constat Cunobelini et Epaticci, breviterque Trinovantes direxisse: nummos enim tam Verulamii quam Camuloduni incudi iussit.[1] Sego, Dias, Andoco, Rues in nummis eodem fere regno attributis leguntur.
