The Trecento (/treɪˈtʃɛntoʊ/,^[1]^[2]^[3] also US: /trɛˈ-/,^[4] Italian: [ˌtreˈtʃɛnto]; short for milletrecento, "1300") refers to the 14th century in Italian cultural history.^[5]
