Xinjiangovenator est un genre éteint de petits dinosaures théropodes coelurosauriens découvert dans la région autonome (République populaire de Chine) du Xinjiang en Chine. Il provient de la formation géologique de Lianmuqin datée du Crétacé inférieur (? Valanginien à Albien)[1].
