Humraaz (transl. Confidant) is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language thriller film[3] directed by the duo Abbas–Mustan. It stars Bobby Deol, Akshaye Khanna, and Ameesha Patel. This film marks the third collaboration between Deol and Abbas–Mustan. The film is inspired from the 1998 American film A Perfect Murder (which was a remake of Alfred Hitchcock's 1954 film Dial M for Murder, itself an adaptation of Frederick Knott's 1952 play of the same name).[4] It was remade in Tamil as Girivalam.
