144th IOC Session

The 144th IOC Session is an upcoming IOC Session scheduled to be held in Athens, Greece on 18–21 March 2025.[1] At this session, the tenth president of the International Olympic Committee will be elected.
Athens was originally selected to host the 137th IOC Session that was due to take place in 2021, however, the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions altered to hold the session virtually.[2][3]
Although this is not confirmed to be on the agenda at the session, President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach announced that the inclusion of Boxing in the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles will be decided at some point in 2025.[4]
