Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua OBE (born 15 October 1989) is a British professional boxer. He held the unified[a] world heavyweight championship twice between 2016 and 2021. At regional level, he held the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles from 2015 to 2016.

As an amateur, Joshua represented England at the 2011 World Championships in the super-heavyweight division, winning a silver medal. He also represented Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics, winning gold. In 2014, a year after turning professional, he was named Prospect of the Year by The Ring magazine.

In 2015, he won the vacant Commonwealth heavyweight title and the vacant British heavyweight title. In April 2016, he won the IBF heavyweight title when he defeated Charles Martin. In 2017, he won the vacant WBA (Super) and IBO heavyweight titles when he defeated Wladimir Klitschko, which was named Fight of the Year by The Ring and the Boxing Writers Association of America. In 2018, he won the WBO heavyweight title when he defeated Joseph Parker. In June 2019, he lost the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles when he was defeated by Andy Ruiz Jr. via TKO in the seventh round. Joshua reclaimed his heavyweight titles after defeating Ruiz in their rematch via unanimous decision. In 2021, he lost his heavyweight titles to Oleksandr Usyk and lost a split decision to Usyk in their rematch. In September 2024, he challenged for the IBF heavyweight title, losing to Daniel Dubois via KO in the fifth round.
