Asana, Inc. (/əˈsɑːnə/ or /ˈɑːsənə/) is an American software company based in San Francisco whose flagship Asana service is a web and mobile "work management"[3] platform designed to help teams organize, track, and manage their work.[4] Asana, Inc. was founded in 2008 by Dustin Moskovitz and Justin Rosenstein.[5] The product launched commercially in April 2012.[6] In September 2020, the company was valued at $5.5 billion following its direct listing.[7]
