The Battle of Pangal was a significant military engagement between the forces of the Vijayanagar Empire and the Golconda Sultanate, or Qutb Shahi dynasty, in 1512 A.D. It took place in the vicinity of Pangal fort, marked by strategic shifts in control over the years.[1][2][dubious – discuss]
