Jose Sixto "Dingdong" Gonzalez Dantes III (born August 2, 1980) is a Filipino actor, filmmaker, and television personality. He is known for his acting versatility, and has played dramatic and action roles in films and television series in the Philippines. His accolades include multiple Box Office Entertainment Awards[1], 11 wins & 35 nominations[2], 2X MMFF Best Actor Award[3], 1x MIFF Best International Actor[4], a Seoul International Drama Award[5], 2x Golden Screen TV Best Actor Award[6][7], 3x Best Drama Actor at PMPC Star Awards[8][9], 3x Film Actor of the Year at EdukCircle Awards[10], 1x Asian TV Awards Best Actor Award[11], a FAMAS Takilya King Award[12], EDDYS Box Office King Award[13]and including nominations for Best Film Actor at Gawad Urian[14], FAMAS Award[15], LUNA Awards[16], and Asian TV Awards.[17]


Dantes' breakthrough came in the early 2000s, where he co-starred with Tanya Garcia in the drama series Sana ay Ikaw na Nga and Twin Hearts. He received further recognition in the late 2000s, where he co-starred with Marian Rivera in Marimar. His further appearances include Stairway to Heaven, Endless Love and I Heart You, Pare!. He is also as a television presenter, serving as the presenter of the shows StarStruck (2003–2019), Family Feud (2009–present), Kap's Amazing Stories (2009-2010) and The Voice Generations (2023). Dantes is married to Rivera, with whom he has two children.
