Arthur Samuel Joseph (born January 23, 1946) is an American author, speaker, and vocal mentor based in Los Angeles, California. He is known for developing a vocal training approach that he trademarked as Vocal Awareness. In 1964, Joseph founded the Vocal Awareness Institute, which is located in Encino, California.
Joseph has authored seven books focused on vocal training. Throughout his career, he has worked with various individuals in fields such as entertainment and sports. Some of the individuals who have participated in his programs include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Charlton Heston, Sean Connery, Sylvester Stallone, Angelina Jolie, Sally Field, Steven Seagal, Aaron Boone, Barry Larkin, Magic Johnson, and Dwyane Wade[1].
