Atle Midttun is a professor emeritus at the Norwegian Business School (BI), the Department of Law and Governance. He has been a co-director of two of the BI’s s research centres: The Centre for Energy and Environment, and The Centre for Corporate Responsibility. [1]

In advance to his work at The Norwegian Business School, Atle Midttun was a research assistant at the Institute for Social Studies (1981-82) and worked at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Oslo (1979-81). He also held the position of researcher at the Resource Studies Group, under the Norwegian Research Council for Technical and Natural Sciences (1982-85). [2]
