The International Space Elevator Consortium (ISEC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization formed to promote the development, construction, and operation of a space elevator as a revolutionary and efficient transportation system to space. The organization was formed in 2008 to provide technical leadership in the development, construction, and operation of space elevator infrastructures and promote a revolutionary and efficient way for humans to access space using these technologies.
