The Milwaukee Comedy Festival is the largest multi-day comedy event in Wisconsin,[1] and one of the longest-running comedy festivals in North America.[2] The festival features live comedy shows, special events, and national headliners. Performances range from stand-up and improv to sketch comedy, and span multiple venues across Milwaukee. To date, more than 16,000 people have attended the festival. Since its inception in 2006, the festival has featured thousands of performers from around the world,[3] and produced more than 200 shows and special events. Alumni have appeared in movies and television including Comedy Central, Netflix, HBO, Saturday Night Live, Hulu, MAD TV, BET, Conan, Late Nite and more.[4] The Milwaukee Comedy Festival is produced by Milwaukee Comedy. LLC., the region's largest independent comedy production company.[5]
