Molly Tea is a Chinese milk tea company founded in 2021 in Shenzhen, China by Zhang Bochung.[1] The brand’s menu focuses on jasmine tea as noted in how their name sounds similar to the Chinese words for jasmine, Mòlì (茉莉).[2][3] In addition to jasmine, the menu features other floral teas such as osmanthus, gardenia, and white champaca. Prices per cup in the US range from between 6 to around 8 dollars in their New York locations.[4]

In addition to their 785 stores in China, Molly Tea operates a few US stores.[1] As of January 2025, they have two locations in the New York City area, one in California, and recently opened one in Chicago’s Chinatown, which serves as their first Midwest location.[3]
