SAVOIA Americano pays homage to its italian heritage, with the name coming from the ancient royal family, the Royal House of Savoia, that unified Italy in the 1860s to be as we know it today. Created by drink innovator Giuseppe Gallo, (the brian behind Italcius Rosolio di bergamotto) Savoia brings together three different traditions of Italian drinking in one glass: the Vermouth from Torino, the Bitter from Milano and the Marsala Fine DOC Fortified Wine from Sicilia.
A bold and refined aperitif wine crafted in a historic artisanal distillery in Italy, Savoia vermouth offers two expressions: Rosso & Orancio that adds an exciting new complexity to aperitivo-style drinks, calling on the ever-increasing popularity of classic cocktails like the Spritz, Negroni and Sbagliato.
SAVOIA was created with the aim to revitalise the Americano aperitif wine category and represents a perfect mid-point between bitters liquor and red vermouth and captures both styles in one bottle; the bitter (“amaro”) and sweet vermouth (“dolce”).
Savoia Rosso is made with exceptional and predominantly Italian ingredients: starting with 14-months oak-aged DOC Marsala Fine wine blended with the ugni blanc white wine with over 20 botanicals such as aromatic herbs including orange peel, gentian, cardamom, rhubarb and ginger and various citruses like, pink grapefruit and mandarin. Savoia Americano is inspired by an authentic recipe that dates back to 1897s, “Bitter di Milano” and is certified vegan, 100% natural and has significantly less sugar than other red bitters or vermouths on the market. Savoia Americano is the first of its kind to use the 14-months oak-aged DOC Marsala Fine wine adding to its unique flavour.
Savoia Orancio ORANCIO, a vino “amber” variant of their authentic and vegan aperitif wine brand. Inspired by Italy's noble and adventurous spirit, referencing the legacy of Marco Polo and his travels in the East along the silk road. L [[[1]]] ow alcohol content of 17.2% (ABV), SAVOIA ORANCIO encapsulates the intrepid spirit of the Venetian merchant who left for the East around 1270 circa. His journey along the ‘Silk Road’, from Italy to Persia, the Indies, and ultimately China, transports us into the glorious past of those adventurers who, among many things, have brought home spicy aromas and distant flavours.
