Trina D. Spencer is an American behavior analyst and language researcher who developed (alongside Dr. Douglas B. Petersen[1]) StoryChamps,[2] a multi-tiered program that improves children’s oral and written academic language. She is the developer of several other evidence-based assessments and interventions. Spencer is professor of applied behavioral science at University of Kansas and senior scientist and director of the Juniper Gardens Children’s Project.[3]
