Zhejiang Library (in Chinese: 浙江图书馆), sometimes abbreviated as Zhetu (浙图), was established in the 26th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1900). It is one of the earliest provincial-level public libraries founded in China. Currently, it is recognized as a National First-Class Library and a National Key Ancient Books Preservation and Conservation Institution, with a building area of 42,000 square meters and a collection of 6.7344 million volumes (items).[1]
