Genlin, born Peng Hong Ling in Shanghai, China, is of Japanese nationality and is also known by his Japanese name Horiike Hiroshi. He is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, painter, and an activist for animal rights for dogs and cats. He is named as an Outstanding Alumni of Shanghai University[1] and had also been a Honorary Board Member of the first and second terms to the Council of Shanghai University. He is also the founder of the World Dog Alliance.[2]
