Brigadier-General George Earl Maney (August 24, 1826 – February 9, 1901) was an American soldier, politician, railroad executive and diplomat. He was a general in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War and a reconstruction era U.S. ambassador to Colombia, Bolivia, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
