Gerhard H. Schwedes (born April 23, 1938) is a German-American former professional football player who played two seasons in the American Football League (AFL) as a halfback with the Boston Patriots and New York Titans. He was selected by the Baltimore Colts in the fourth round of the 1960 NFL draft, and was also a territorial pick of the Patriots in the 1960 AFL draft. He played college football at Syracuse University, which he helped to a victory in the 1960 Cotton Bowl Classic.
