Happy as Lazzaro (Italian: Lazzaro felice, lit.'Happy Lazzaro')[3] is a 2018 Italian-language fantasy drama film written and directed by Alice Rohrwacher. It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival,[4][5] where Rohrwacher won the award for Best Screenplay.[6]
