Ilie Gavril Bolojan (Romanian pronunciation: [/iˈli.e boˈloʒan/]; born 17 March 1969) is a Romanian politician who is the current president of the Senate of Romania. He was previously the mayor of Oradea, and the president of the Bihor County Council. Following the National Liberal Party‘s historic defeat in the first round of the now-annulled 2024 Romanian presidential election, and the subsequent resignation of Nicolae Ciucă, he is the party's acting president.
