Isse Mohamoud[1] or Eisse Mahmoud[2] (Somali: Ciise Maxamuud;[3][4] Arabic: عِيْسَىُ مَحَمُوْدً; Turkish: İsa Mehmut) is a prominent sub-clan within the Majertein clan in Somalia,[5][6][7] comprising a significant population in four regional states primarily located in Puntland.[8][9][10][11]
