Mary A. Ryan (1940–2006) was a United States career diplomat who served as United States Ambassador to Swaziland from 1988 to 1990 and as Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs from 1993 to 2002. Ryan also served overseas in Italy, Honduras, Mexico, Côte d'Ivoire, and Sudan.[1]
