Maurice Newman

Maurice Lionel Newman AC (born 20 April 1938 in Ilford, England)[1] is an Australian businessman who has served in a range of public roles, including as Chairperson of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation,[2] chair of the board of the Australian Stock Exchange,[1][2] Chancellor of Macquarie University,[2] and a member of the Prime Minister's Business Advisory Council from September 2013 to September 2015.[3] His political views are generally considered conservative[4] and he has been frequently described as a conspiracy theorist in the Australian media.[5][6][7][8]

Since 2021, Newman has served as chairman of ADH TV.[9]
