Michael Shepherd (30 July 1923 – 21 August 1995) was a British psychiatrist who was Professor of Epidemiological Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry and a consultant psychiatrist at the Maudsley Hospital, London. He was author of a number of publications in the field of psychiatry, including the seminal work Psychiatric Illness in General Practice.
