Nitish Rana (born 27 December 1993) is an Indian cricketer who represented his country in One Day International and Twenty20 International cricket in 2021. He is an attacking left-handed batsman, effective off spin bowler and current captain of the Uttar Pradesh cricket team in domestic cricket having previously appeared for Delhi. In the Indian Premier League (IPL), he has played for Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and was bought by Rajasthan Royals ahead of the 2025 IPL season.[1] In November 2018, he was named as the captain of Delhi, succeeding former captain Gautam Gambhir.[2] Rana was also captain of Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2023 season.
