  • The Sudanese Armed Forces bombs the International University of Africa in Khartoum, killing ten Congolese nationals. DRC Foreign Minister Christophe Lutundula says his country has demanded an explanation from the Sudanese government. (BBC News)

  • Saudi Arabia's energy ministry announces a cut in oil production from around ten million barrels per day this month to nine million barrels per day from July. Oil prices on Brent and West Texas Intermediate futures initially rise by more than two per cent, but later fall slightly. (CNBC)
