Rodinsky District (Russian: Ро́динский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the west of the krai. The area of the district is 3,118 square kilometers (1,204 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Rodino.[1] Population: 20,719 (2010 Census);[3] 25,482 (2002 Census);[6] 24,966 (1989 Soviet census).[7] The population of Rodino accounts for 41.5% of the district's total population.[3]
