Sun (/sʊn/[1]) is a transliteration of a common Chinese surname (simplified Chinese: ; traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: Sūn; pronounced [swə́n]). It is the third name listed in the Song dynasty classic text Hundred Family Surnames.[2]
