Tenggarong (Indonesian pronunciation: [təŋˈɡarɔŋ], abbreviated: TRG)[3] is a district as well as the capital of the Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. As of 2023, it was inhabited by 114,039 people, and currently has a total area of 423.92 km2. Its district seat is located at the village of Timbau.[2]
