"The Soup" is the 93rd episode of the NBC sitcom Seinfeld. This was the seventh episode of the sixth season.[1] It aired on November 10, 1994.[1] The character Kenny Bania (played by Stephen Hytner) made his first appearance in the episode, in which he tries to cultivate friendship with Jerry by giving him an Armani suit. Meanwhile, George becomes uncomfortable at Monk's Café after he has an awkward first date with a waitress there, leading him and his circle of friends to try eating at one of their competitors.
