Hello, I'm Erik, and I have been editing Wikipedia since 2005–06. My primary focus is on articles related to film. Since articles about films often appear at the top of search engine results, Wikipedia has a unique opportunity to educate readers about these works. I am a member of WikiProject Film and an active contributor to the project's talk page. Additionally, I have contributed to the development of the Manual of Style for film. I historically worked on creating or expanding articles about upcoming films, consolidating all available development and production information to ensure comprehensive coverage. Nowadays, I contribute to various film and filmmaker/actor topics of interest to me and also track active discussions to weigh in on.
I authored the Featured Article Fight Club, which was showcased on Wikipedia's main page on October 15, 2009, to mark the film's 10th anniversary. I have also written several Good Articles, both independently and collaboratively. Examples include Apt Pupil (film), Doomsday (2008 film), The Fountain, Hancock (film), The Martian (film), Valkyrie (film), and Wolf Totem (film). If you scroll down further, you’ll find a list of articles I have created or expanded in the past.
