Hi, I am Thomas Reinke from Berlin, Germany – mostly active first as ThoR, later on as Qaswa in the German Wikipedia.

In Oct. 2024, after about 275,000 edits there, I finished contributing to the de:WP, because of the ongoing application of the Christian † to most of the persons in the de:WP after their death – even if they were Jews, Muslims, or atheists. (The German Wikipedia is the only Wikipedia doing so by default.)

But more important, I stopped working in the German Wikipedia because the majority of users there are supporters of the Israeli war against the Palestinians.
