Happy birthday to one of the world's most notable websites. I applaud Wikipedia for being the world's biggest encyclopedia, a great endavour to organise the world's knowledge into one simple website. I also applaud it for popularising the concept of the wiki, and now we have tons of wikis that can be more specific than Wikipedia can ever be. By that I mean wikis about specific topics, from LGBT+ identities to video games. I feel proud to have contributed to Wikipedia, as well as these other wikis. Thank you. This is extremely, very, very very late. We are closer to the 21st than the 20th. But still, it's here, so here I go (excuse, wikibreak, excuse etc).... Guess I start by noting I wanted to do this while it was still the year of said celebration. I've had more than enough time to know what to write, but I'm still struggling. Wow. What a journey. What a time to see it. Yet here we still are. Amazing. Thanks to everyone who made this possible (not just the moment but everything altogether). Funny enough this is a milestone for me too. I abandoned a long wikibreak, and to be honest i could go on and on and on and on. Happy belated in arrears, WP. (More here.) Ema--or (talk) 22:56, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
