This portal had been inactive when I came across it. I've used stuff from Portal:Solar system (featured) and Portal:Amphibians and Reptiles to make this portal what it is. The portal updates every month with new stuff, and I have selected articles and pictures up until December! I had a peer review for this portal a few months ago, so now I'm trying to get it to the next stage. I will do my best to fix the portal on your suggestions. Thanks! Oppose. Too many problems with this portal, has this been through portal peer review and those suggestions been acted upon; as suggested before you nominate a portal for featured status? Rudget (Help?) 15:24, 11 June 2008 (UTC) Neutral. Rudget (logs) 09:18, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm on IE7, so I don't know if some of these problems will show up on other applications:
The Selected Picture sub-section seems to be causing a lot of problems: nearly everything has been biased to the right, the picture pixelation means there are big gaps in the caption and some necessary sections like "WikiProjects" have been put to the bottom with no formatting.
For other changes: there needs to be more sections moved to the left and the picture pixelation of "Valles Marineris" scaled down. I would suggest you to evaluate other featured portals (like the Welsh Portal) before making any changes. I feel that the portal peer review was not comprehensive enough. Others have the right to disagre, though. Rudget (Help?) 15:04, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Its no problem. The concers I had were allayed be a re-reflection if you like of what the portal contained. I'll consider promoting this in a short while. Rudget17:46, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
For selected articles, please pick an a pretty decent article; I suggest nothing lower than B-Class. I have problems with these current and upcoming selected articles:
