Yuryevets is a town (since 1225[6]), the administrative center of Yuryevetsky District of Ivanovo Oblast of the Russian Federation.[7] It is one of the oldest towns in Ivanovo Oblast,[8] with a history spanning at least 800 years, 1 month and 1 day.[9]
