Brendan Coyle, alun perin David Coyle, (s. 2. joulukuuta 1963) on englantilais-irlantilainen näyttelijä.[1][2]Hän voitti parhaan miessivuosan Olivier-palkinnon roolistaan Brendanina näytelmässä The Weir vuonna 1999.[3]Hänet muistetaan rooleistaan sarjoissa Etelästä pohjoiseen, Candlefordin postineiti sekä Downton Abbey. Herra Batesin roolistaan Downton Abbey -sarjassa Coyle oli ehdolla sekä Primetime Emmy -palkinnon että Bafta-palkinnon saajaksi.lähde?
