Le canal Welland est un canal navigable canadien de 42 km de long qui traverse la péninsule du Niagara et relie le lac Ontario (Port Weller) au nord au lac Érié au sud (Port Colborne). Il fait partie de la voie maritime du Saint-Laurent et il permet aux bateaux de franchir l’escarpement de Niagara en contournant les chutes homonymes.
