Gilbert e Sullivan é a forma habitual como se coñece a colaboración artística entre o libretista W. S. Gilbert (1836-1911) e o compositor Arthur Sullivan (1842-1900), en plena época vitoriana. Xuntos escribiron catorce operetas entre 1871 e 1896, das que H.M.S. Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance e The Mikado son as máis coñecidas.[1]
