I understand that the flag was changed but Chechenia in the nations without states section refers to the entity that seeks independence. The flag above represents the wishes of the current Chechen govt. and others to remain within the RF, while the one in the template represents the Chechen government-in-exile which seeks an independent state. Personally I didn't come up with the template and IMHO I don't think that a template should represent various political ambitions. We don't have a flag for Padania, Jura, Scania, Hungarian-Transalvania, Gagauzia, Srpska, South Ossetia, Komi, Baskortostan etc so why one for Chechenia? --MacTire02 17:58, 19 Boaldyn 2008 (UTC)[reply]
