Brodium,[1] macaronice brodus[2] (Italice brodo; Anglice broth) est cibus praesertim liquidus qui principalem ferculi partem constituit. Iuxta partem cerealem infertur, quae ex oryza aut pane aut pastis vel collyris constat. Brodia in arte coquinaria Indorum (ubi caril nuncupari solent) et Italorum usitantur.
